The founding team combines more than 30 years of experience in sustainability in various roles. As a consequence, we experienced firsthand the rise of sustainability as a global megatrend while seeing countless companies overwhelmed by the complexity. At ImpactNexus, we believe that digitization is the key to helping millions of businesses transform sustainably.

We develop software that makes it easy for companies and their investors to take action on sustainability. In 2015, the world's leaders committed to a sweeping set of targets to improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests by 2030. It's clear that the world is nowhere near on track to meet these 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and we need a systemic change and we need it fast.

Our mission is to catalyze the transition toward a sustainable economy by making it easy for millions of companies to become more sustainable.

Tasks

You will work in the product development team. Key tasks include:

> Stay updated on the latest sustainability regulations, standards, and best practices.

> Research and recommend innovative sustainability practices and technologies.

> Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of risk related to sustainability for different companies and think about ways on how our digital solutions can enable them to integrate sustainability into their business models

> Collaborate with our technical team to integrate the latest sustainability knowledge and requirements into our product, e.g. by providing usage guidance

> Facilitate customer workshops and consultations to understand sustainability needs and provide tailored solutions (customer research).

Requirements

> 2+ years of working experience‍

> Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact through innovative solutions

> Very good understanding of sustainability regulations, frameworks, and best practices (e.g. CSRD, SFDR, Materiality, EU Taxonomy, etc.).

> Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging sustainability trends and practices

> A well-structured working manner with the ability to respond to unplanned requests and effectively adjust and reprioritize your work as needed

> Ownership and ability to drive initiatives in fast-paced environments with minimal oversight

> Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes

> Excellent communication skills to develop content marketing articles, prepare guidance material in the software, and guide key stakeholders and customers on sustainability

> Fluent in English (German is a plus)‍

> You are located in Berlin or are able to spend 50% of your working time in Berlin
